In a world undergoing significant transformation, the challenges facing rural Mozambique are increasingly pressing. There is an urgent need for change, responses, and solutions. More than ever, the Ferreira dos Santos family feels a moral obligation to contribute effectively to this process, forming the foundation of the RESET project.
The RESET project is built on three fundamental pillars, which work in close coordination: first, the co-creation of strategies and solutions by bringing together top specialists; second, the business aspect of implementing sustainable rural business solutions; and third, the development aspect, led by the RESET Foundation, focused on systematizing and sharing knowledge to inspire a movement of change. The RESET Foundation will also promote solutions and investment in essential areas for the development of people and rural areas.

OUR MISSION
INSPIRING
The RESET Foundation positions itself as a beacon of inspiration for the movement for change, dedicated to research, systematization and dissemination of knowledge and solutions to the practical challenges of rural Mozambique, in alignment with international academic standards. In addition, the RESET Foundation promotes investments in areas essential for the development and regeneration of the rural environment and human lives.
CO-DESIGNING
The RESET platform operates as a think tank dedicated to strategic alignment among various intervention areas and the co-design of hypotheses and practical solutions for environmental challenges. To achieve this, the RESET platform aims to bring together top national and international specialists in a creative and collaborative environment.
DOING
JFS-RESET embodies the business side of the project, developing integrated and fully responsible rural enterprises. JFS-RESET focuses heavily on contract farming, working in partnership with thousands of smallholder family farmers. Additionally, JFS-RESET invests in industrialization and the development of essential products and services to advance rural areas.
